Virtual Attendant
Virtual Attendant allows an existing Virtual Office company to add subsequent auto-attendants with separate menus while using common Virtual Office unlimited and/or metered extensions and/or ring groups from another system. Virtual Attendant can be sold as a stand alone product with as few as one Virtual Extension. Virtual Attendant works with all the Virtual Office options including Virtual Numbers and toll-free numbers for inbound calling options; Virtual Extensions to connect wired, cell, home phones and other Virtual Office physical extensions and/or ring groups for sharing extensions with multiple company attendants.

You can expand Virtual Attendant to a full-scale inbound and outbound calling solution by adding the Virtual Office unlimited extension and metered extensions options. The Virtual Attendant base package includes a main number (a Virtual Number) and the auto-attendant. To connect to existing Virtual Office extensions, add the necessary Virtual Extensions to a Virtual Attendant and forward them to your existing Virtual Office lines and/or ring groups.

Unlimited Extension
Unlimited Extension is our flagship extension service for Virtual Office and Virtual Attendant providing unlimited calling to the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom. An unlimited extension includes unlimited worldwide network calls with any Packet8 subscriber, business class voicemail, a unique direct inbound dial (DID) telephone number, auto-attendant routing and switchboard viewing.

Unlimited Extension PLUS
Unlimited Extension PLUS offers all of the features of the regular Unlimited Extension plan plus free equipment (business-class telephone and Broadband adapter). In addition to eliminating the standard up front equipment charge ($99.99 before tax), the Unlimited Extension PLUS plan extends the equipment warranty to two years. Equipment is included.

Terms of Service: 2 year service contract, 2 year warranty
Disconnection Fee: $100 if cancelling prior to 2 years

Metered Extension
Metered Extension is just like our current unlimited extension differing only in price and the minutes included. The Metered Extension plan offers 250 minutes of calling to the US and Canada, + 2.9 cents a minute thereafter, and any international tolls. A metered extension includes voicemail, a DID, auto-attendant routing and switchboard viewing.

Metered Extension PLUS
Metered Extension PLUS offers all of the features of the regular Metered Extension plan plus free equipment (business-class telephone and broadband adapter). In addition to eliminating the standard up front equipment charge ($99.99 before tax), the Metered Extension PLUS plan extends the product warranty to two years.

Terms of Service: 2 year service contract, 2 year warranty
Disconnection Fee: $100 if cancelling prior to 2 years

Unlimited Fax Extension
VoIP subscribers no longer need to settle for "hit or miss" faxing over their business Internet phone service line. Unlike other VoIP providers who offer "best effort" faxing capability, Packet8 provides the industry's most reliable fax solution based on the T.38 ITU standard for sending faxes across IP networks in a real-time mode. By utilizing the T.38 fax protocol, Packet8 real-time fax service performs as reliably and seamlessly as traditional fax service. Not only will Packet8 fax services work with all fax machine brands, they also cost less than a separate fax line from a landline phone company.

New Device Activation
The Packet8 Fax Unlimited Extension – New Device Activation service plan includes unlimited outgoing faxes plus unlimited incoming faxes. International faxes are billed at Packet8 International rates.

Fax Unlimited Extension – Second Port Activation Existing Packet8 business subscribers can also order Fax Extension - Second Port Activation through the Packet8 Self Service portal. The Second Port Activation fax extension utilizes an available 2nd line port in their existing BPA430 or BPA410 adapter which lowers the activation cost.

The Packet8 Fax Unlimited Extension – Second Port Activation service plan includes Unlimited outgoing faxes plus unlimited incoming faxes. International faxes are billed at Packet8 International rates.

To order this Service, login to your account on the Packet8 Self Service portal and select "Fax Plans" followed by "Fax Unlimited Extension-2nd Port" from "Add-On Services".

In addition to eliminating the standard up front equipment charge ($49 before tax), the Fax Unlimited PLUS plan extends the product warranty to two years. Current Virtual Office subscribers can take advantage of this program when adding this service to their existing plan. Equipment is included.

Global Extension PLUS
Unlimited Global Extension is just like our Unlimited Extension with the additional benefit of unlimited calls to select international locations(non-mobile and non-premium).

Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Moscow-Central, Moscow-Suburb, St. Petersburg, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and United Kingdom.

Asia: Australia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Virtual Extension
Virtual Extension, an extension not associated with a physical Virtual Office telephone, is great for information only mail boxes announcements such as addresses, driving directions, promotional offers and product tips. The Virtual Extension includes a mailbox, auto-attendant routing, limited switchboard viewing and a DID for direct and outbound forwarding. 2.9 cent per minute charge for forwarding to a outside PSTN (non-Packet8) line.

Overhead Paging
Packet8 offers an inexpensive way to implement company-wide overhead paging service to multiple locations by adding an Overhead Paging Extension to your existing Virtual Office system. A Packet8 Phone Adapter enabled with Overhead Paging service can integrate seamlessly with your current Overhead Zone Paging system to provide service over your existing Packet8 network.

Business 2000
The Business 2000 calling plan is a VoIP telephone service that includes a single direct-inbound-dial line with a basic business feature set that includes voicemail, caller ID, call waiting, three-way calling, find me/follow-me, simultaneous ring, call forwarding, 7 digit local dialing and more. Business 2000 calling plans include 2000 outbound/inbound PSTN minutes. Outbound 3.5 cents per minute thereafter. 3.5 cents per minute (after 2000 outbound minutes reached)

Softalk Office
Please note: The Packet8 Softalk Office is currently only available to Packet8 existing customers. Customers can order this service through the Packet8 Self Service portal.

Packet8 Softalk™ Office, a PC-based softphone for use with the Packet8 Virtual Office hosted PBX phone service for business, is ideal for road warriors and telecommuters. Softalk Office gives Packet8 Virtual Office subscribers access to a full-featured Virtual Office softphone extension directly from a personal computer without the need for a separate Virtual Office telephone. An easy-to- use graphic keypad functions as the main user interface, allowing for quick access to both basic and advanced Virtual Office calling features. Additionally, Softalk Office enhances the already robust PBX feature set of the Virtual Office service by enabling videoconferencing between as many as six participants simultaneously.

Softalk Office users have access to the same corporate-class PBX calling features offered with the Packet8 Virtual Office service. Key features include:

• Unlimited worldwide in-network calling
• Multi-user videoconferencing capabilities (H.264 Video Codec)
• Customizable auto-attendant

The service plan includes 200 minutes incoming and outgoing calls within U.S. and Canada. Additional minutes will be billed at 3.5 cents per minute, with outgoing international minutes billed at the current Packet8 international rates.

This plan is only available for IP Phones.
